This class is designed to introduce coaches to the foundational principles and application of Marlena Field’s Body-Centered Coaching Method™ 9 body-centered coaching processes. Participants will experience each one through live demonstrations and hands-on practice. We will also explore some of the relevant, evidence-based neuroscience that underscores the power of integrating body-centered coaching as well as contraindications for employing a body-centered approach.
Body-Centered Coaching invites the client to engage in an integrated (mind-emotion-body) inquiry that facilitates a shift and creates an opening for an empowered path forward. It is about being curious without having an agenda for the client. It invites coaches to tap into their intuition, to trust themselves, the client, and the coaching process. It provides an opportunity to deepen one's coaching presence while expanding one’s coaching toolkit.
